Judges will be looking for organisations that have achieved this through a user-friendly, responsive innovative and seamless workflow.

2. Best Career Website (New)

This category recognises an organisation that has developed an attractive career website and blended well with their corporate employer brand. Judges will be looking for an eye-catching and user-friendly layout, optimised content for job seekers, and encourages conversions such as successful candidate applications.

3. Best Digital Strategy

This category recognises the most creative and effective use of digital media in any channel or format to maximise the reach to the right candidates and boost employer branding. Entrants should provide examples of how their digital strategy has helped identify talent and attracted the right candidates. Judges will be looking for the use of new technology, and score highly for innovative applications of digital technology.

4. Best Employer Brand Development

This category recognises the most constructive development of an employer brand in relation to an organisation’s recruiting and overall recruitment strategy. Judges will be looking for how this has delivered tangible benefits to the company and/or its bottom line.

5. Best Family-friendly Employment Policy (New)

This category recognises an organisation that has developed exceptional family-friendly employment initiatives and environment that strives at work-life balance. Judges will be looking for HR initiatives and benefits that support and promote employee and family values.

6. Best Graduate Recruitment Programme

This category recognises exemplary creativity and effectiveness in formulating and delivering a graduate trainee recruitment programme that has helped the company achieve its business objectives. Judges will be looking at an organisation’s ability to achieve recruitment targets around cost, timelines and the number and quality of desired graduates.

7. Best International Recruitment Strategy

This category recognises organisations that have successfully deployed a search strategy to acquire/place talent outside of Hong Kong – this could be achieved in Mainland China, the North Asia region and/or globally. The judges’ decision will be based on how the organisation achieved international recruitment objectives through shrewd recruitment strategies.

8. Best Internship Programme

This category is open to any internal/in-house recruitment team who has overseen a successful internship programme. It recognises the top programmes that bring a unique and enriching experience to interns. Judges will be looking at the programme planning and structure, assistance and activities to engage interns, the number and diversity of interns, and retention rates (if applicable).

9. Best Local Recruitment Strategy (New)

This category is open to all internal/in-house recruitment teams of an organisation in any sector. This category recognises organisations that have successfully deployed a search strategy to acquire/place domestic talent in Hong Kong and/or Mainland China. The judges will be looking at how the organisation achieved local recruitment objectives through shrewd recruitment strategies.

10. Best Minority Recruitment – In house (New)

This category recognises organisations that have developed an excellent recruitment plan for minority groups and that have given them equal access to the hiring process. Judges will be looking for HR initiatives in recruiting that eliminates (unconscious) bias, diversity and inclusion in the selection process, and accessibility measures to minority candidates.

11. Best On-boarding Experience

This category recognises the on-boarding programme that has excelled in reducing the time taken for new hires to genuinely assimilate into the team and company culture. Judges will be looking for successful outcomes that have gone beyond the norm in giving new hires a rich experience.

12. Best Recruitment Innovation

This category recognises pioneering innovation by recruitment teams that have developed creative and practical initiatives, solutions, or campaigns to engage target candidates while approaching business goals. Judges will not only be weighing up the merits of innovative solutions and the creativity involved but also how it positively impacts the organisation’s recruitment, conversion rates and overall candidate experience.

13. Best Recruitment Team

This category recognises market insights, top-notch services and achievements by the company’s recruitment team. Judges will be looking for results that have positively contributed to the success and strategic objectives of the organisation.

14. Best Recruitment Transformation – In-house (New)

This category recognises an organisation that has developed a forward-looking perspective on talent recruitment with significant changes and pivots to their recruitment process within the last year. Judges will be looking at how HR planned and executed an innovative recruitment transformation to meet their organisational growth and needs successfully.  

15. Best Remote Recruitment Strategy (New)

This category is open to all internal/in-house recruitment teams of an organisation that has diverse workforces and remote work support. It recognises an organisation that has developed a successful remote recruitment strategy. Judges will be looking for clear processes for the recruitment of remote workers.

16. Best Use of Recruitment Technology (New)

This category recognises the successful implementation of systems and technology for recruitment purposes with the aim of bettering the process and workflows of recruiters as well as creating a superior candidate experience. Judges will be looking at challenges before deployment of the technology and the results after implementation.

17. Best Use of Video in Recruitment Marketing (New)

This category recognises organisations that have proven experience in blending media marketing and recruitment for attracting potential candidates and building employer brand. Judges will be looking for creative uses of video that significantly impacts employer branding, and candidate conversion rates.

It recognises entrants that possess unparalleled knowledge and an understanding of the mechanisms of job placement in the sector. This category is open to recruitment firms that specialise in executive and C-suite appointments. It recognises entrants that possess unparalleled knowledge and an understanding of the mechanisms of executive placement. Judges will be looking for tangible measures of success such as the quality and quantity of key appointments with big firms.

This category recognises recruitment agencies that have developed an excellent recruitment plan for minority groups and consistently provided them equal opportunities with potential employers. Judges will be looking for agencies’ commitment to diversity and inclusion in recruitment practices and moving the needle in helping clients embrace inclusivity.

This category recognises the effectiveness of recruitment agency websites in attracting target audience’ attention, action, and ROI. Entrants should demonstrate a clean design of their website, ease-of-navigation and demonstrable social proof. Judges will be looking at user experience, design and features that stand out from others.

This category recognises agencies that demonstrate innovative transformation of the entire recruitment process through new technologies or practices. Judges will be looking for a clear showcase of how the agency transforms; the challenges faced before transformation, the processes and transitioning milestones, and the positive results as an aftermath.
