David Lim is the Senior Vice President, People, PVH Asia Pacific. In his role, he has the regional leadership responsibilities and accountabilities to lead and drive people strategies and initiatives across Commerical division for Calvin Klein and Tommy Hilfiger brands across Asia Pacific region. Since last year, he has taken up added responsibilities for Supply division for HR supporting Asia, Indian Sub-Continent and Africa regions. With over 30 years in this field of work spanning across different industries as well as other Fortune 500 companies, his experiences are broad and varied. Before he joined PVH, David has worked in Walmart and Standard Chartered Bank.

David is an accomplished and savvy HR Executive with proven track record and expertise as well as an indelible reputation for delivering inventive HR strategies and client-focused solutions that improve profitability and productivity. Recognized for transforming and shaping workplace culture with progressive and forward-thinking talent strategies and people practices that bring double-digit revenue growth while attracting and retaining talent in a cross-geographical and multi-cultural environment. Broad experience building profitable start-up divisions, growing business lines, M&A transactions and integrations as well as streamlining business operations. Proven ability to mentor and develop leaders within the organization as well as building consensus that consistently create momentum to implement strategic initiatives.

David is born and raised in Singapore, educated in Australia and served in the Military as a Paratrooper for 3 years, being trained in pre-emptive operations (strike and reconnaissance missions) in hostile environments. Having lived and worked in the United States, Taiwan, Thailand and other locations in Asia. David graduated with Master degree of Human Resource Management from Curtin University of Technology and holds a Bachelor of Business degree, major in HRM from University of Tasmania.
