Iris Chau is the Director of People & Culture at The Repulse Bay, where she leads the transformation of people culture and drives strategic human resources reform across the property. With a strong belief that people sit at the heart of organisational success, Iris is committed to building an inclusive, engaged, and purpose-driven workplace that supports both business excellence and employee wellbeing.

Prior to joining The Repulse Bay, Iris was the Director of People at the Hong Kong Football Club, where she spearheaded new HR initiatives aimed at transforming people practices and reshaping the Club’s organisational culture. Before that, she was the Director of People at Eaton HK, a global purpose-driven hospitality brand that blends hospitality with creative expression. She played a key role in implementing major human resources initiatives aligned with the company’s core values and social purpose.

With over 20 years of experience in human resources, Iris has led significant HR initiatives focused on cultivating a people-centric culture, advancing diversity and inclusion through targeted recruitment strategies and training programmes, and strengthening organisational engagement with charities and marginalised communities. Her work has consistently emphasised meaningful employee experiences, social impact, and cultural transformation.

Iris brings extensive experience from leading international and regional hospitality groups, including InterContinental Hotels Group, Hyatt Hotels Corporation, Dorsett Hospitality International, and the Miramar Group. She holds a Bachelor of Hotel Management (Honours) from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University and a Master’s degree in People and Performance from Macquarie University.
