Agus started his hospitality professional career with Banyan Tree Ungasan as an English Teacher where he then promoted to CSR Manager role after a year joining. After that, he moved to Global Expat Recruiting and helped them to be an established recruiting agency in Indonesia as the Recruiting Manager and subsequently received a promotion to Senior Recruiting Manager shortly after. Furthermore, he was also part of the pre-opening team of Sofitel Bali Nusa Dua and Raffles Bali, the latest is considered to be one of the most awaited ultra-luxury resorts opening in 2020.

Additionally, he had a great chance to rebrand Alila Villas Soori to an independent brand Soori Bali in 2016 and in his most recent appointment, he assisted the rebranding of Jumana Bali Ungasan Resort to Umana Bali, LXR Hotels & Resorts, where the property is regarded to be the 1st Hilton’s LXR brand in South East Asia
