Maris joined Cargill Indonesia on July 2015 as HR Operation Lead. Aligned with the organisation development and HR transformation in Asia Pacific including Indonesia, he was promoted as Employee and Industrial Relation Director back in Nov 2017. Started on September 2020 his role expanded to a Global HR Solution Country Lead. In this capacity, he drives the implementation and initiatives of human resource stream (Employee Experiences, Employee Well Being, HR Operations, and Employee/Industrial Relation) and tools for a significant area of responsibility, ensuring compliance with external requirements and integration with the broader corporate policy framework. He is a member of the Country Leadership Team.

Over the years, Maris has crucial contribution of Human Resources function to commercial/business excellencies such as: MADJV, Global Mobility Policy updates, Collective Labour Agreement, Incentive Schema, Industrial Relation, and Market Development. From 2013 to 2015, Maris was the HR Operation and EIR Lead for Samsung Electronics Indonesia. Prior to that, Maris was a Corporate Compensation and Benefits Sr. Manager for FrieslandCampina Indonesia from 2007 to 2013. His career in the Human Resources begun in Mercer HR Consultant as Global Information Analyst. During his career he had project/task force assignment which relocate his work location in (1)Amersfoort; Netherland, (2)Singapore, and (3)Suwon; South Korea.

Maris holds a Bachelor Degree of Agrometeorology from Bogor Institute of Agriculture and Advance Study on Agroclimatology Modelling on Cropping System from Department of Primary Industry of Queensland Government, Toowoomba; Australia.
