Nazral Safril Mohammad Sapari

Nazral Safril Mohammad Sapari currently serves as the Chief Human Resources Officer at CGC Malaysia. In this pivotal role, he assumes the responsibility of overseeing the development of strategic initiatives and ensuring the efficient operation of both Human Resources Management and Facilities & Administration Services, all geared towards the attainment of CGC’s overarching objectives.
With an extensive career spanning over three decades, Nazral brings a wealth of experience to the field of human resource strategies, management, administration, and operations. His diverse background encompasses stints in the banking sector and various corporate settings, making him a seasoned professional with a proven track record of crafting and implementing high-caliber HR plans and strategies.
Before joining CGC, Nazral held the esteemed position of Director of Human Resources & Administration at Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC) from 2020 to 2023. In this capacity, he played a pivotal role in formulating and executing human resource strategies that seamlessly aligned with the organization’s overarching business plan and strategic direction. Prior to his tenure at MDEC, he served as the Head/General Manager of Human Resources & Administration at Touch ‘N Go, where he led the core functions of the HR division. Additionally, he assumed the role of Regional Head, HR Business Partner for Group Asset Management & Investments/Director, Group Human Resources at CIMB Investment Bank from 2013 to 2016. During this time, he also spearheaded the Property and Facilities Management divisions at CIMB-Principal Asset Management (Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore & Thailand) (CPAM) and CIMB-Principal Islamic Asset Management Sendirian (CPIAM).
In 2008, Nazral played a pivotal role at AmBank (M) by leading the HR Group Shared Services. His career also took him on an international journey as a founding team member of Alinma Bank, Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, where he contributed significantly from 2009 to 2013.
Nazral’s academic achievements further underscore his commitment to professional development. He holds a BBA (Hons) in Human Resource Management, conferred in 2006 by Universiti Teknologi MARA, Shah Alam, Malaysia, as well as an Advanced Diploma in Business Management obtained in 1992 from Swansea Institute of Higher Education, Wales, UK and Diploma in Banking Studies from Universiti Teknologi MARA in 1990.
