Ooi Wern Earn

Wern Earn has 15 years of Human Resources experience under her belt, starting her career with Adecco as a Recruitment Project Manager in 2006. Her longest career lies in Technip where she amassed 12 years of HR insights, where she received an innovative award on designing a Engineers Development & Reskilling Program in 2012 and won the Top Employer recognition for Technip in 2014 and 2015.

Throughout her career, Wern Earn has successfully translated high level business strategies into regional talent strategies and drive talent management practices locally. She also translated succession planning gaps into succession development plan, conduct coaching, and turned employee’s career conversation input into retention strategy, globally known as one of the most effective & powerful retention strategies.

In 2016 onwards, she took on regional HR roles, helming the responsibility of developing actual and future regional leaders, managed recruitment issues, facilitated workforce planning to drive cost synergy, supported international mobility processes, drove localization processes and managed the integration/merger between companies.

Currently, Wern Earn is the Human Resources Director of Sunway Malls, leading the brand to grow its talents in line with its aim to be amongst Malaysia’s largest mall owner-operator. She has a first class degree honour in the Bachelor Degree of e-Commerce, Computer Sciences and IT. She also earned her CIPD Level 5 qualifications at the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development.
