BMW Group Malaysia<\/h5>\n

Subash Chander Ganapathy has been the Head of Human Resources, BMW Group Malaysia since September 2019.<\/p>\n

Prior to his current role, he was based at the Corporate Headquarters in Munich, Germany where he was responsible for the Talent Management of Senior Executives worldwide, with a special focus on the Digital Disruption of HR.<\/p>\n

Subash started his BMW career as the Head of Human Resources at the Financial Services arm in Malaysia, before moving to the Manufacturing Plant in Chennai, India, as the Senior General Manager of Human Resources and Facilities Management.<\/p>\n

In his various functions, Subash has been responsible for a wide gamut of Human Resources responsibilities encompassing Leadership Development, Coaching, Talent Management, Strategic Human Resources, Digitalization and Analytics.<\/p>\n

Additionally, Subash was key in implementing the future HR IT landscape of the BMW Group worldwide, and is an ardent proponent of disruptive thinking at the workplace.<\/p>\n

Prior to his experience with the BMW Group, he has had experience in the electronics manufacturing companies Flextronics & Sony in Malaysia. Subash started his career as a telecommunications engineer.<\/p>\n

Subash earned a Masters of Business Administration with a specialization in Strategic Management from the University of Strathclyde, Glasgow (Scotland) and completed his undergraduate at the University of Nottingham Trent, UK with a Degree in Computer Systems Engineering.<\/p>\n
