Bryan is a dynamic HR leader with a strong background in talent and leadership development, culture building, and organisational change. As the head of group talent & development at United Overseas Bank (UOB), Bryan oversees talent management, leadership succession and development, performance management, employee learning, and organisation development initiatives.

Since joining UOB in 2012, Bryan has played a key role in designing and implementing leadership development programmes, digital learning and performance management systems, as well as culture-building initiatives. Notable highlights include the rollout of ‘The UOB Way’ culture initiative, the establishment of the UOB Leadership Academy, launch of the award-winning ‘Better U’ future-skilling programme, and the driving adoption of Gen AI and automation.

Before UOB, Bryan held senior leadership roles in business HR, learning & development, and rewards management at multinational organisations such as British American Tobacco, British Telecom, Kraft Foods, and Neptune Orient Lines. He is an active community service volunteer, a frequent speaker at regional conferences, and a regular contributor to HR publications.

Bryan holds a doctorate in business administration from the University of Canberra, a master of business administration (Distinction) from the University of Birmingham, and a Bachelor of Business (Honours) from Nanyang Technological University.
