Samir leads the HR function for British American Tobacco (BAT) in Singapore and responsible for driving people agenda including diversity & Inclusion and Employee Wellness. Samir has close to 17 years of HR experience working for multinational companies such as Bosch, Bayer, Honeywell, Dyson, GE Aviation and Applied Materials across multiple geographies.

Samir is versatile HR professional with stellar experience in various functions of HR and comfortable working in highly matrixed structures, dealing with ambiguous business environments.

In a short span , Samir was instrumental in helping British American Tobacco Singapore to be recognized as one of Singapore’s Best Employers 2021 and achieve the prestigious HR Excellence Awards in 2020 wherein BAT was awarded the Gold Award for “Excellence in Diversity and Inclusion”
