Karen Tan is the Director, HR Shared Services, APAC. She is a seasoned HR professional with over 20 years experience in delivering innovative and integrated solutions to enhance employee experience.<\/p>\n

Karen started her career as an accountant after her graduation and subsequently to the position of Controller before her career path switch in 2002 to Human Resources.<\/p>\n

During her tenure in human resources, she piloted and implemented several projects including Flexi Benefit, Recruitment outsource, Workday and payroll consolidations and most recently HR Shared Services center setup. In her current role. In her current role, she lead a diverse team to build a regionally integrated operations supported by standard processes, data intelligence and technology that drives consistency in how her team operates across all business to deliver a world-class employee experience.<\/p>\n

Karen is a strong believer in helping to develop younger talent within the organisation and is active participants in Regional WGN Chapter activities within Johnson Controls. She is also an participate actively outside of JCI coaching students who are interested in developing a career within HR Shared Services.<\/p>\n
