Bessie Chong is the Director of Group HR and Organizational Development at Esquel Group, one of the global leading textile and apparel companies with a vertically integrated supply chain.<\/p>\n

Since joining Esquel Group in 2008, Bessie has been responsible for driving people development initiatives at all levels and building up the global organizational leadership pipeline to support Esquel\u2019s long-term development and transformation. In recent years, she devoted herself in nurturing a learning organization and an innovation culture through enhancing the computational thinking ability of employees and digital empowerment.<\/p>\n

She is currently appointed as the Adjunct Professor of the City University of Hong Kong. She is also the member of Industry Training Advisory Committee \u2013 Fashion of Qualifications Framework in Hong Kong, and the Higher Education Advisory Committee Member of the Vocational Training Council.<\/p>\n

She received Bachelor of Arts with distinction from University of Alberta (Canada), Master of Science from The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology and PhD in Economics and Finance from City University of Hong Kong.<\/p>\n
