Joni Raini currently serves as Human Resources Director of PT Bank CIMB Niaga Tbk. Prior to his appointment as Director he was the Chief HR Officer since Apr 2020.

Joni brings with him 20 years of HR experience in both local and multinational banks, in which he spent the last 10 years in CIMB Niaga and led several key positions covering HR Business Partner, HR Strategy, Performance Management, Rewards, Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, Learning & Development, HRIS and HR Shared Services. In addition, he had also served as the member of Nomination and Remuneration Committee from 2015 to 2021, and Chairman of CIMB Niaga Pension Fund from 2018 to 2021.

Prior to joining CIMB Niaga in 2011, Joni was the Head of HR in Barclays Bank Indonesia and previously he was the Head of HR Management & Services and Head of Learning & Development at UOB Buana Indonesia.

Joni holds a Bachelor Degree from Tarumanagara University (Indonesia), Master Degree from Pelita Harapan University (Indonesia), and Executive MBA Degree from Peking University (China).

He also holds several Certification as an Assessor (SHL), Interviewer (DDI), Facilitator (DDI), and has attended the Accelerated Universal Banker Program from Nanyang Technological University and Executive Leadership Program from INSEAD. In 2017, Joni also won an award as the Young Promising Bankers Award from The Asian Banker Singapore.
