Maris is the Senior Vice-President for HR Operations and People Analytics at Indosat Hutchison Ooredoo. With more than 20 years\u2019 experience in human resources, he is known for challenging the status quo and introducing structured, innovative approaches that align HR processes with high business performance.<\/p>\n

He joined Cargill Indonesia in 2015 as HR Operations Lead and, following the company\u2019s HR transformation in Asia-Pacific, became Employee and Industrial Relations Director in 2017. In 2020 his remit expanded to Global HR Solution Country Lead, overseeing employee experience, wellbeing, HR operations and industrial relations. In this role he ensures compliance with external requirements and integration with corporate policies, while serving on the Country Leadership Team.<\/p>\n

Maris has played a key role in initiatives such as MADJV, global mobility policy updates, collective labour agreements, incentive schemes, industrial relations and market development. Before Cargill he was HR Operations and EIR Lead at Samsung Electronics Indonesia (2013\u20132015), and Corporate Compensation & Benefits Senior Manager at FrieslandCampina Indonesia (2007\u20132013). He began his HR career with Mercer as a Global Information Analyst, with project assignments in the Netherlands, Singapore and South Korea.<\/p>\n

He holds a degree in Agrometeorology from the Bogor Institute of Agriculture and undertook advanced studies in agroclimatology modelling on cropping systems at the Department of Primary Industry, Queensland Government, Australia.<\/p>\n
