Alvin Low is the Head of People for Lotuss Malaysia (formerly known as Tesco Malaysia) where he is responsible for partnering with the business and driving the people strategies to support business growth. He is an experienced HR professional with more than 18 years of experience spanning multiple industries, including FMCG and healthcare, market research, telecommunications and retail.
Before this, he worked in consumer healthcare for GlaxoSmithKline where he partnered with the business to build capability, drive engagement and create a culture of high performance. He also successfully led the integration for the GlaxoSmithKline and Novartis joint venture. He is very passionate about unleashing people potential and development. His expertise is in the areas of talent management and leadership capability, culture of high performance, and change management.
