Ian Lim currently is Director of Human Resources and Administration in Regency Specialist Hospital. He has brought in new initiatives and improvement projects into Regency since he joined in September 2020. The new initiatives that he has implemented are Talent Development program for nursing team and revamped on nursing career pathway with nursing education team. Established online learning (e-learning) and created nursing cultivation program. One of the key projects is setting up first training center in Regency. Realignment of nursing job grade and career pathway also has been done to strengthen the competency skills of nursing team. He also dedicated his efforts on nursing hiring by launching Come Home program to attract Johoreans who plan to relocate back to their hometown. Besides attracting Johoreans, he also attracting outstation talents to relocate to Johor Bahru by providing accommodations and hostels for 76 pax of fresh graduates in nursing cultivation program. With his believe of HR partnering to value add to the business and operations team, Ian has created a role of HR Business Partner to work closely with nursing leaders on developing strategies for people management, talent development & succession planning, and talent management.

Ian’s previous experience as Head of Human Resources & Administration based in Jakarta, and was Regional HR Business Partner for Asia Pacific in Huawei which worked with headquarter in Shenzhen to set up new department in SEA. He was attached to IBM China as Senior Recruitment Professional based in China responsible for executive hiring and worked as Recruitment Specialist in Vads for mass recruitment projects. In his 14 years of working experience, his strong believe is everyone deserves equal opportunities to be groomed, to develop, and to voice out.
