Sharmeel or as she is better known as Sharm is an accomplished HR Leader in the industry and fraternity. Out of the 27 years of her total work experience, 17 years was where she achieved her mark in the various HR functions moving around several industries \u2013 Banking & Finance, Consultancy, Shared Services, Automotive & Logistics. Sharm moved to Volvo Group Malaysia, June 2023 making her great comeback into Automotive & Commercial vehicles again.<\/p>\n

She has held many various accolades and awards internally and externally from the organisations she had worked in, in some instances marking to be the only woman to represent certain internal functions such as Disaster Recovery projects previously with DHL where she was the only woman to aid in driving the fork-lift having acquired her license & now most recently, acquiring her trucks driving license as part of the Iron Woman Program with Volvo Trucks.<\/p>\n

During the pandemic, realising the alarming numbers of employees running towards mental health issues, Sharm established a winning program that helps people deal with such anxieties and mental health issues, her program was successful. On top of that, she helped the aviation industry by employing pilots or cabin crew staff whose employment were put on hold whilst enduring the MCO. She gave them an opportunity to put food & pay their rents for their families. The pilots now are forever grateful to Sharm for this opportunity.<\/p>\n

Her undying passion towards contributing to society and the betterment of living for humans in general goes without saying. Her love towards animal rescue and feeding is eminent through her contributions towards providing services to a number of animal shelters in Malaysia. Her lifelong dream is to be able to run a self-funded and sustainable animal shelter with providing service dogs to help people in need.<\/p>\n
