Joan has held multiple leadership positions at Chevron Corporation, including head of human resources in Manila since June 2021, senior manager of global mobility in Houston, Texas, and various managerial roles overseeing HR service delivery, business partnerships, and global center operations from 1998 to present. This includes leading startup teams and migration projects across regions such as Asia Pacific, Australia, Europe and the USA.

Joan holds a bachelor of science in accountancy from the University of the Philippines, an MBA from Ateneo De Manila University, and completed a leadership development programme at INSEAD Singapore. Certifications include Certified Public Accountant (CPA), SHRM Certified Professional, and membership in the Philippine Institute of CPAs. Throughout his career, he has earned significant acclaim for his leadership, receiving prestigious regional awards for his contributions to the field of human resources management.

Joan had work globally with assignments in Singapore, New Zealand, San Francisco, California, and Houston, Texas.

Joan has a proven track record in leading global projects, driving efficiency, and managing startup to operational phases in global capability centers.
