Because of her stellar track record in driving employee engagement and empowerment, MaLu is a well\u0002respected and well-loved leader across AboitizPower. She started her career in the transport business of the Aboitiz Group and has since then held various leadership positions within and outside of the AboitizPower, the group\u2019s power company. <\/p>\n
Before coming back to AboitizPower, MaLu was the Director for Human Resources at Convergys handling an 18,000-strong workforce across 9,000 sites. <\/p>\n
MaLu is among the primary allies of the LGBT+ community in AboitizPower and she firmly believes that to be able to have an engaged and mpowered workforce, one must first feel safe, included, and valued. That is why top of her agenda at AboitizPower is to be purposive in driving diversity, inclusion and belongingness. <\/p>\n
