Shao is a seasoned HR practitioner with years of professional experience in business operations and leadership roles for local and MNC organisations. She is an alumna of the University of the Philippines in Diliman and the Asian Institute of Management where she earned her bachelor\u2019s and master\u2019s degrees. Shao is a Certified Human Resource Professional (CHRP) and professional member of the Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM).<\/p>\n
She is currently Director for Human Resources and People Support at Dole Philippines (Stanfilco). She manages a 22,000-strong workforce, covering over 10,000 hectares of land in Mindanao, with 29 listed unions. Shao advocates coaching and mentoring to create an innovative, inclusive, and collaborative work culture. Her leadership ensures that human resource practices and objectives build, enhance, and leverage the capabilities, efficiencies, and performance of people to support business strategies and priorities.<\/p>\n
Shao is also President of the Board and Management Committee of Kasilak Foundation, the CSR arm of Dole.<\/p>\n
