Bala leads the Talent Management function for the Singtel group focused on Leadership and Talent Development, Bench Strength and Succession Planning.
Bala led global teams and worked across various sectors CPG, Technology and Consulting. Before joining Singtel, Bala was in San Francisco leading the HR team for the Global Platform Engineering organization at Twitter. Before Twitter, Bala held various leadership roles at Google in Asia Pacific.
His early training as an engineer led to an affinity for data analytics and now channelled into a passion for use of ML and AI in HR. His passion is to drive business strategy through people.
