Eugene has more than 20 years of HR experience, covering a broad spectrum of human capital domains including Integrated Talent Management, Org Development & Effectiveness, Transition Management, Workforce Planning & Analytics, and Resource Management. His HR experience also includes Organisation & Human Performance Consulting, and the execution of HR Strategy & Operations at country, regional and global levels.

Eugene is currently the Sr. Vice President, HR at ST Engineering where he is responsible for Group Talent & OD and Head of HR for the Commercial Cluster. He has worked mainly in IT and High-Tech Sector, with companies including Danaher Corporation, Kimberly-Clark, Applied Materials, Hewlett Packard, IBM, Accenture, and PricewaterhouseCoopers Management Consulting Services.

Eugene graduated with a Bachelors in Business Administration from the National University of Singapore and has a MBA from Surrey University, UK. He remains active in his National Service duties with the Singapore Armed Forces, attaining the rank of Colonel in the army reserve and was awarded best National Serviceman in 2006 and a National Day Award for Public Administration in 2016. He was a National Hockey Player for Singapore, and his hobby and passion is in music, having recorded as lead guitarist in gospel albums and a Latin album for a local music icon, the late Rufino Soliano.
