Ng Gian Heng, Director of Human Resources, oversees the human resources functions at InterContinental® Singapore, flagship hotel of IHG Hotels & Resorts in Singapore. A seasoned hospitality professional with over 17 years of experience, Gian Heng has held leadership positions in various luxury and upscale hotels, including two pre-opening experiences. During his previous stint with InterContinental Singapore Robertson Quay in 2017 where he played an instrumental role in setting up the department and leading the strategic hiring of over 250 talents, Gian Heng was awarded HR Leader of the Year within the IHG Singapore portfolio of hotels. A further testament to his leadership capabilities, Gian Heng’s portfolio expanded in 2018 to include the development and management of Human Resources at Holiday Inn Express Singapore Clarke Quay, placing him in a dual-role position. In his free time, Gian Heng enjoys long-distance running, and spending time with his family.
