Kaijie spent the first 7 years learning the why and what: Understanding the business of Singapore government with national-level policy postings across education, transport and manpower.

He then spent the next half acquiring the how: As Carousell’s strategy director driving corporate, business strategy and its $1.1b unicorn round; transforming IMDA’s innovation division to enable corporate intrapreneurship and change management; setting up GovTech’s product strategy office to shift towards product-centric thinking and policy-ops-tech innovation.

He is now going upstream to impact the who: Developing HR policy for 150k public servants, to ensure that we continue to deliver great policies and services for the next 60 years.
