Luckana Sookthong has more than 17 years of HR experience in multinational companies in the oil and gas and automotive industries. At the beginning of her HR career, she started in L&D and workforce management roles at Chevron, assigned the Head of HR for the Chevron downstream retail businesses covering the full aspect of HR functions and managing 1,200 employees in the retail service stations.

Before her role at Mercedes-Benz, she was leading the compensation and benefits function at the Shell Company of Thailand. She has strong expertise in managing organisational change in a dynamic business environment, including reorganisation, business mergers and acquisitions and playing a key role in change management and HR deployment in the pre and post-acquisition phases.

Her passion lies with HR being a critical role to support organisational culture and employee engagement, creating a great place to work through the employee experience, and enhancing a high performance organisation.
