May Szeto is the Director, Human Resources of the Empire Group, a private HK-based property development and investment company.

May’s extensive experience come from a diverse group of industries. She had been with J.P. Morgan Chase Bank, Nomura Securities, Animoca Brands, MGPA (now part of Blackrock) and Bloomberg L.P. in various regional roles.

With over 20 years of all-rounded HR experience, May’s specialties include change management, organisational development, talent management and employee relations. Previously, May spent seven years at Grosvenor Property where she was the head of HR for Asia. During her time there, she built the APAC HR team, designed and implemented the HR agenda to enable the business for re-positioning, and developed a high-performing team.

May holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree (First Class Honour) from the Chinese University of Hong Kong and a MBA degree from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology.
