Dr. SP is currently serving as the People Leader of HP Malaysia. Dr SP has a PhD and a post-doctoral fellowship in HR and has authored over 15 research articles. He is an outcome-driven, value-oriented HR leader with over 22 years of experience. He worked in sales, manufacturing, IT, BPO, shared services, and insurance Fortune 100 organisations. He has worked in green field business environments, setting up new organisations, functions, and factories, with a proven track record in establishing innovative people strategies which maximise the employee potential, foster growth, improve employee engagement, employee experience, and healthy employees, developing a deep leadership bench for the future, resulting in the organisation being a great place to work for all.

Dr SP has a deep passion for building a diverse, equitable and inclusive workplace and finds purpose in advancing sustainability. He drives many initiatives that reduce the gender gap in the workplace, where everyone brings themself with pride of belonging and is celebrated for their contributions and innovations. On sustainability, he leads many unique programmes which continue to create a positive, meaningful impact on over 10,000 beneficiaries in Malaysia.

In his five years of leadership, HP Malaysia has won many industry awards, such as Great Place to Work®, voted by graduate students as their preferred employer for three consecutive years, and the award for sustainability (CSR), wellness, and HR practices.
