Wan Sofia is the Executive Vice-President of HR Strategy and Planning at Affin Hwang Investment Bank and is responsible for charting the strategic direction for people development, learning and development solutions, strategic talent acquisition, performance management, total reward strategies and championing a high performance culture for the bank.
She has about 30 years of experience in the human resource field in various capacities and industries. Before Affin Hwang, she was the Head of Human Resource, Administration and Corporate Communication, at Cement Industries for two years.
She has also held head of HR positions in various organisations at UEM Group, Touch ‘n Go, TIME Group and Renong. Her strength is in transformation interventions in the areas of young talent development, HR transformation, culture transformation, and HR generalist.
