Grace Yang

Grace joined Suntec Singapore Convention & Exhibition Centre in March 2005. She oversees the HR strategy and operations. Grace is responsible for building a pool of highly skilled professionals while promoting a cohesive culture. She also spearheads the Corporate Social Responsibility, Community Engagement and Sustainability initiatives, Business Solutions and IT initiatives.
As the HR lead, Grace has played a key role in shaping the corporate culture with great success, which is especially challenging in an era where the workforce is becoming increasingly disengaged. She is a passionate, driven and committed HR leader who believes that the heart of the organisation lies with the people and constantly aims to foster a high-trust and high-performance culture in Suntec Singapore.
An award-winning HR professional with 19 years of experience, she is an advocate for workplace diversity, innovation and employee wellness and safety. Under her leadership, Suntec Singapore has received numerous HR accolades like Human Capital Partnership Programme by MOM and Plaque of Commendation (Gold) by NTUC for cultivating a good working relationship with the organisation’s labour union, U-Safe Sparks Award, Employer of Choice Asia and Asia’s Best Employer Brands Award, Sparks of Hope award from SCORE – the Yellow Ribbon Project.
In 2015, Grace was awarded the May Day Model Award (HR Category) for fostering strong labour movement and tripartite relationship. In 2018, she championed and won the HR UFI award – Successful changes in the exhibition industry: The strategic role of HR as Business Partners. Grace is also the finalist for HR Excellence Award 2019 (special-mentioned award) – HR Leader of the Year.
Other than her passion and commitment in her professional, Grace plays an active role in contributing back to educational institutes as well as associations and ministries.
Grace is a certified Senior HR Professional by Institute for Human Resource Professionals (IHRP). She holds a Bachelor of Commence (HR and Management) from Curtin University.
