Terrence is Human Resource Director with Hengli Petrochemical International, a company  engaged in the supply and trading of crude oil, petroleum and petrochemical under one of the world’s largest weaving companies, Hengli Group.

Hengli Group is established in 1994, ranking at 107 in Fortune Global 500, owns one of the world’s largest PTA plants and one of the world’s largest functional fiber production bases and weaving enterprises, and employing more than 90,000 employees. 

He steers a team to formulate and execute HR strategies, supporting business needs and addresses challenges in both Singapore and China.

With more than 18 years of HR experience spanning across shipbuilding, shipping and energy trading industries. He has spearheaded HR initiatives such as setting up a full-scale HR department for Keppel FELS in China, cultural integration for SPC and PetroChina through experiential workshop and develop training programs together with internal experts in PetroChina to ensure skillsets are internally retained. 

Terrence holds a MBA (Dean’s list) from SMU and Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering (First-Class Honours) from NUS. He is also a Certified Trainer (ACTA), Associate Certified Coach (ACC), Licensed Neuro Linguistics Programming (NLP) practitioner and accredited with Occupational Personality Assessment tools.
